Explosion of flames that results from the sudden intake of oxygen by a dormant fire.

Backdraft is a Boku no Hero Academia fanzine centered on the Villain Todoroki Touya aka Dabi. It will focus on the many aspects of the Villain's life before the fateful events of chapter 290, where he finally revealed his true identity to the world.The zine will be SFW and General (read: no ship)

How does it work?1. A $3 Ko-fi will grant you the Dabi Shimeji + a chance to win a Full Bundle.   • A: MONEY DUDE. It’s easy maths, Charlie, our fierce Finance mod, has written a very interesting thread you can find here.

  • 50% of the mod team is composed of writers and the 50% left drinks writer juice every morning. So trust us, we’re trying our best to do justice to our fellow scribblers and give them as much space as it’s humanly possible without having you read a story in Times News Roman size 2.

  • Q: Can I apply as a writer and an artist and a merch artist and a cosplayer and a mod intern and Nobel Prize and Best Arsonist of the Decade and -

  • A: YES! Yes you can apply for as many positions as your heart desires but we will assign you just one role if you’re picked. Greediness is bad for the skin.

  • Q: Can we write about other characters than Dabi, like the Todofam and the like?

  • A: Well, Touya did interact with his family and then with some people, including the LoV and PLF, Hawks, etc, so yeah, obviously, you can write about other characters as long as our arsonist is the main focus and not an excuse to write someone else.

  • Q: Can we ship Dabi with someone?

  • A: No 💙

  • Q: AUs?

  • A: Nope! Dabi is a villain, not the owner of a coffee shop or a tattoo artist or a hero or a gogo-dancer.
